California and wineries go together like a flawless wine you would pair with the perfect bite. You can find wineries up and down the coast, with each region offering its own unique experience and taste. Temecula Valley brings the winery world to Southern California, featuring 50 wineries that each bring their distinctive take on wine based on how they grow each vine and then how they perfect the process to take it from grape to bottled wine. With such a wide array of wineries and such a vast landscape, it is best to put your experience in the hands of an expert tour service. Grapeline Wine Tours has perfected the wine tour. It has taken over two decades of working with wineries and learning what makes Temecula a wine-tasting tour to create an experience that is not only known locally but is revered across the United States.
Grapeline Wine Tours not only has a history of 22 years of treating guests to the best vineyards in California, they have garnered numerous awards, reflecting their commitment to excellence. Grapeline is not only Temecula Valley’s top-rated wine tour, but they recently were recognized as a Viator Experience Award winner for Top Beverage Tours and Experiences, ranking among the Top Five in the United States. In terms of being recognized for a beverage tour, this is as an impressive stamp of approval as you can get. Beyond awards, their guests, with countless five-star reviews, are the true judges of their success.
Grapeline Wine Tours has a wine tour for everyone, including the all-inclusive full-day Wine Tasting Tour, the private 5-hour SUV transportation service through wine country and the Temecula private wine tour. The full-day vineyard picnic tour is the five-star rated experience that Grapeline is most famous for and will provide you with a memorable wine-tasting experience in every possible way. Grapeline has made this tour as easy as just walking out your hotel front door and they will take care of everything the rest of the way.
Temecula is home to many wonderful properties for you to vacation at and Grapeline will pick you up at any of these to begin your tour. You will be greeted by your tour guide and driver, who are both experts when it comes to Temecula and the wineries you are about to experience. Once you pick up all of your wine-tasting companions, the fun begins. As you are driven throughout Temecula, you will be treated to some of the great history of the area as well as the wineries from your entertaining guide, on this day Liz was part historian, host and just getting everyone fired up for the time of their lives. While you are likely to have been a stranger to most of the people on the tour when the day started, as Liz said, you are likely to be friends well before the end of the day and that is completely accurate.
The Grapeline tour will take you to four different wineries and they make sure you get four unique experiences. Liz did an amazing job of preparing everyone leading up to each winery, as she provided a little history of the winery and then highlighted some of the top wines for you to watch out for and try among the vast varieties that each winery offered up. The selection of wineries on the Grapeline tour is well-curated, offering a mix of well-known establishments as well as newer vineyards. Each winery visit includes a generous tasting session, and the staff at these wineries are always welcoming and eager to share their wines and stories. You get a good sense of the variety and quality of wines produced in Temecula, but you also get a behind-the-scenes look that is unique to Grapeline.
The tour includes five to six tastings at each location as well as a Grapeline discount if you would like to go home with any of your favorite selections. With this being a full-day tour, Grapleine provides each guest with a picnic lunch, and you get to choose from several fresh and tasty choices and the location of your lunch will always give you a pairing selection to go with lunch.
The tour lives up to expectations with the winery experience and each one seemingly was better than the last. Maurice Carrie Winery has been on their property since the early days of Temecula, while changing names over the years, they still produce wonderful wine from the same land and the can’t miss menu item that they are famous for is their baked brie sourdough bread. Cougar Vineyard & Winery has an iconic view that is worth a stop just for a photo, but the wine paired with their incredible deli makes this another noteworthy spot. Danza del Sol Winery offers a wide range of wines including some truly unique fruit-forward wines that are different than you will find at most other wineries, they truly put their creativity into these wines. In addition, this is one of the many wineries that you can choose to vacation at. Akash Winery, one of the new wineries in Temecula, not only showcased a wonderful assortment of wine, but they also have a great lineup of beer from their Akash Brewing that guests were also able to taste while on the tour.
